Oh and just to inform you, in the past I have helped with email archival
scripts.
Search for "archive filter..." and you will see I think I solved his problem
on win32 but it got taken over when others couldnt get past

It is dependant on the other end's SSL capabilities.
If it is capable, then it SSL is attempted because your end *is* capable.
Then it fails because there is no SSL keys.
The default config has SSL on, but if you follow the install instructions,
it says *must* create keys.

Sounds like yahoo is checking anti spam criteria and determining that you
are not worthy.
Perhaps the checks are asynchronous and so when the negative results come
in, the MTA abruptly and belatedly shuts the door.

Use of DynDNS is required, yes as how the xmail2 server revolve the xmail1
'changing' ip ...
But to trigger the xmail2 server quicker that wayting next 'retry' you can
use etrn.
