Try putting the command line to start it (something like c:\program files\zonealarm directory\zonealarm program.exe) in your registry:
click on run -> type regedit -> click OK -> browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion->Run and make a new entry there.
