You could send yourself an html email with some IMG tags which point to a
webserver for which you could view the logs... You'd want to make them
unused resources (perhaps a jpg containing text that says "Your IP address
is now being logged").  Of course, if the intruder doesn't read the email it
won't do anything.  And if they do read your email, then they might see this
suggestion and then escape the trap...
