Yeah i thought of the cigarette lighter issue, but the heavy duty inveters  connect 
directly to the battery not the lighter. 
Yes I am aware that the altenator is what generates power :-) wich is why i asked how 
fast it can do it. Also it used to be a 
generator in the really old cars.
I dont plan to run the whole house on it, just a few key appliences (refrigirator, 
lights, pc ...)
