Not all websites are publicly viewable. Edwards and Kelcey have just
implemented a new website which allows our cellular customers to track their
sites remotely. The site runs on Apache/Jserv and connects to our databases
via Servlets and JDBC. Naturally it isnt for public consumption, but we did
look at CGI, ASP and Java Servlets as potential technologies before settling
on Servlets.
When the main corporate Website finally gets redone it will be using
Servlets as we are happy with the reliability, development time needed, cost
and the servlet technology in general.
