Sorry I didn't respond earlier!
If you go to http://mspress.microsoft.com select an item on the page, then
click on "add to cart" or one of the other links. You will be redirected
off of the Microsoft site to mspress.ecdirect.net/servlet/... which is a
Servlet based service used by Microsoft. The company providing this service
is http://www.ecdirect.com. Obviously this is a high volume site. It also,
shows that Servlets are being used in the real world and some of the most
unusual places.

So at the end of the exercise, I'm really not much convinced about the
