Please, enough flaming. If you have a specific idea of how you would
like to program for the Web with servlets, why not air it instead of
complaining about existing stuff?
I believe almost any solution you come up with will end up looking
either like ECS or like a templating solution, however, because those
pretty much cover the possible range. Even perl with here-documents
amounts to templating, it's just that the templates are in a perl
script.
