Does Core Servlets and Java Server Pages have good example code?

It is nice if the code can be used on real projects rather than proving
concepts. Wrox used to be pretty good at providing useful case studies.

Whatever you do, do NOT buy Wrox books for Java Server stuff. They are
truly terrible - littered with spelling and grammatical errors, and hacked
about by cut 'n paste Editors.

Buy Core Servlets and Java Server Pages by Marty Hall (Prentice-Hall 2000),
or Java Servlet Programming by Jason Hunter and William Crawford (O'Reilly
1998).

I used to always buy Wrox books, and would have automatically chosen a Wrox
publication. However that all changed when I purchased Professional XML - a
truly terrible book. I actually managed to get a refund from Wrox Press,
and I suspect they realised that the book was rubbish. However, recent
publications are in the same amateurish vein.

The only decent Wrox books are the single-author publications, notably those
by Ivor Horton (Java).
