Sorry about bringing this up yet once more, but since I have received a few similar
(off line) responses I shall break my promise because it really seems as if some
people have misunderstood me.
Yes, true, the root of the problem (as ckj says below) is "the aggressively
ignorant/inconsiderate people who post (and answer) off topic questions." Attacking
them with loud agression is what i am advocating against because we are hopefully, as
adults, beyond the "he hit me first" stage.(( :-))) I am *not* against educating a
large number of people simultaneously.
All I am saying is this:
If you can calmly state your case, by all means go public. If you cannot help but
raise your voice go off line.
