Thanks Jeff. I tried to catch this early, but inadvertently I replied in
html
format to a couple of the messages, and helped spread the problem.
Unfortunately it appears that quite a few list members did the same.
I do want to note that it does not seem to matter whether the original post
was included, but rather it seems to be more important whether one
replied in html format; as that spread the virus. I've had quite a few
messages
in html format that included the virus.
I apologize for my mistake; and it will not happen again. That's what I get
for deciding
to do email thru windows rather than linux tonite; Egg On My Face.
Please do not cancel the list for simple problems like this; it is
something
we will have to work thru. Might I suggest - respectfully - that the email
list
server include a virus filter?
