Reid - I see in your webrev that you are using links-0.99pre6.tar.gz.
On the links Primary Site (http://links.sourceforge.net/) download page there is a file links-0.99.tar.gz (with no pre in the file name). I suspect it is newer. There is also a links-1.00pre23.tar.gz file there. Is pre6 chosen for some special reason? Have you considered the links 2.x version or elinks? They all have the roughly the same code base I think. For fun, I did builds last night of links-1.00pre23 (SPARC/Solaris 2.5-10 and x86/Solaris 8-10) links-2.1pre36 (SPARC/Solaris 2.5-10 and x86/Solaris 8-10) elinks-0.11.4rc1 (SPARC/Solaris 8-10 and x86/Solaris 8-10 only) and am putting them on sunfreeware.com (links 1 and 2 are there now, elinks later today). Each version has its own characteristics that might be useful to a variety of users. Steve C.
