In this particular case, the software I am asking is in the public domain (http://expect.nist.gov/FAQ.html#q5) and hence no issues. I checked the build instructions for CCD and SFW and see that the tools required, build setup, Makefiles are on the same lines. Now, what would be expected to be done to shift this piece of software from CCD to SFW? - I'll incorporate it into the build setup of SFW and make changes to the build scripts where necessary. ~Shiv
