yeah. sfw came after the ccd, and was based on it apparently.
and the ccd uses the ON build process because I like it :)

probably legal review (hopefully the license is a quick to review
one) and arc'ing. Then probably you'll need a sponsor to run it
through the RTI process (though perhaps we can do an email one
like we do with the ccd - who knows, you'd be the first external
contributer to sfw. so expect bumpiness). expect shouldn't be hard (and even
though the tcl/tk upgrade breaks it on the ccd, if it goes in the
sfw consolidation it can point right at the source there and avoid
that problem).
