Its okay, it has it fair share of problems, but they are managable with good 
maintenance routines.  Its based off the old Torqueflite units used behind the 
RWD vehicles for many, many years.  In 1991 they made them with an electronic 
lock-up converter to help with highway mileage.

Adding a shift kit and a limited slip to it will help resolve some of its 
issues.  The final one, where the clutch material ends up in the governor can 
only be resolved with a deeper transaxle pan or a full manual valve body, but 
if you're that serious then you'll probably want to change out the torque 
converter and strengthen the clutches, and perhaps change the gearing a little, 
etc.

$4500 does seem a little high, but since I've not seen it, I can't say what its 
worth to me.
