1) Make sure you have a way to keep the hosel cool 2) Make sure the rod goes down in the hosel and is not stopped by
epoxy(i.e. I measure and drill out if necessary) 3) I heat the rod cherry red wait a sec insert about 5 to 10 sec and
continue to put pressure on the head and repeat until it comes apart 4) Carefully clean out the hosel and reshaft Don

correct procedure. I have the PCV tool and recall the
use of a Hot Rod but do not recall the time you can keep it in the shaft. Would appreciate it if someone
