Ron- I'm playing both.  Have used the hybrids (3-5) since last August and just built the 770CFE irons about 1 month ago.  I love all of them! I'm getting 5-8 more yards from the 770's even though they are 1/2" shorter than my old irons.  They are very good quality (what else from TW!) and I MOI matched them to the hybrids I already had. I used the Gi-335 shafts in the hybrids cut to Tom's specs and also MOI matched them.  My old 5 iron I figured for 150 yds, the 5H I figure for 158! Corresponding increases for the others.  Their ball flight is much higher than normal irons and they seem to stop pretty well on the greens.
