Yep, the cd was one I posted. One problem I've seen with a few guys using it is
that for some incomprehensible reason, they put the shiny side up on a sunny
day. Certainly the mirror side has to be up so you can view your eyes position,
but a couple guys I know have stopped using it because of the glare! Amazing.

Thanks Dave for catching that. I myself turn my head so that my nose
is actually behind the ball a little, my left eye over the ball 9I am
right handed) and at six feet I don't do too bad.

All the methods and devices discussed here
lack a couple points; in order to bring the putter away and through the
ball, you have to have your eyes directly over the ball.

That's a great point.

And there are training aids for that, too.

One of the best and cheapest is a plain old CD. (I don't remember where
I first saw this. Might have been one of your posts, TFlan.)

Take a CD that you don't ever want to play again. (Like rap, or yet
another AOL subscription.) Put it on a flat, level piece of ground,
reflective side up. (Level is important.) Place a golf ball in the
center hole of the CD. Now address the golf ball with your putter. You
will be able to see the reflection of your face in the CD. Your eye
line should be through the ball. It is easy to see if your eyes are
inside or outside the ball.

Cheers!
