Donald Trump is going to build a wall. Hillary turned over all of her emails. And it was just coincidence that Obama gave Iranians $400 million in francs and euros on a dark runway at the pinnacle of a prisoner release. Always consider the source and then keep the source honest. Allow for honest mistakes as you trust but verify. That said, if you walk into many of the most experienced and qualified golf club shops worldwide, you are likely to see a Mitchell machine. Twenty plus years of using Mitchell have satisfied this clubmaker that the investment was well worth it. In service of full transparency, I don't have a darn thing to do with Mitchell beyond being a purchaser....but on second thought, maybe a call would be in order to reference this message. However Mitchell claims otherwise. Take a look at page 2 of the pdf: https://www.mitchellgolf.com/pdfs/manuals/SAMI-MANUAL.pdf Your STEELCLUB® Irons Angle Machine is a precision gauge. When measuring a particular club in your STEELCLUB® Irons Angle Machine, the angle readings are correct. When these angle readings are compared to the published standards for that club and are found to be different, then that particular club does not meet those standards. If you compare the loft/lie angles of a particular club measured in other machines to a STEELCLUB® Irons Angle Machine there may be a difference. That is because some machines do not adjust for offset, progressive offset, non-offset, or face progression hosel positions and therefore give inaccurate and inconsistent readings. You can measure any club in a STEELCLUB® Irons Angle Machine accurately -----Original Message----- From: Steve Longeway Sent: Friday, August 05, 2016 11:27 AM To: shoptalk@mail.msen.com Subject: ShopTalk: Loft/Lie Question I have a question about loft/lie adjustments that I’m struggling with. I’ve always been under the impression that you cannot use a “bending machine” to take accurate loft lie measurements. You were to do adjustments on the machine, then use a club gauge to test the “real” loft and lie of the final product. Is this correct? Thanks for the help!
