well, they do have to think it hard. i would opt for a stripped and dev
kernel. i have just tried Radek's kernel [1], look at my [2] results. do
you think i wanna go back to my distro kernel? :)) :

penguin logo off: 0:54 1:38
X on: 1:08 2:03
illume with icons:1:23 2:22
haven't done more tests yet.
