Hmm.  Well, I accept that such decisions are not straightforward.  But I
suspect that the work involved in maintaining the old Illume, and fixing
the occasional bug, so far as needed by SHR, might be a lot less than
that in always following the E bleeding edge.

Well, in order to test my suspicion in a concrete way, I'll see if I can
fix the focus bug with Illume 1 and then build a new image.  I'll report
back...
