  I would be very interested.  I personally would be more interested
in teaching programming than how to run/use linux and linux apps.  In
fact, living right across the street from a high school (McCallum) and
within close distance to several elementary schools, I have often
wondered about helping out at a local school, perhaps working with the
programming teams or something of that sort.  

  I have very fond memory of competing in programming contests when I
was in school (late 80's) and I am sure they still do those types of
things.  I would have LOVED it if a professional from the community
could have come in to teach us once every week or two as the people
teaching computer science in public schools (at least as of 10 years
ago) typically had little actual real computer science skill.

  If anything comes of this, count me in.  I think it would be great
fun.
