Until about a year ago, I ran Linux and windows on a 4.3 gig
drive. The windows partition used the first gig, while Linux used the
last 3.3. Never had any problems with this setup. So, I'm guessing
that it is possible, though I never tried it with larger drives and
don't know if that would make a difference.
