You can also have 98 and 2000 coexist on one partition. I split
my HD in half, with Slack on one side and Win98/Win2k on the other.
Slackware is ext2, of course, and the Windows side is FAT 32. One thing
to keep in mind: Win2k partitions are completely readable from linux. That's
why I kept mine FAT32, but this has probably been fixed by now.
Here's the order of partitioning/formatting:
Use Windows to split the partitions and install Win98 first. Then install
linux on the other and get lilo working. Last, add Win2k -- it won't
mess up the MBR, but it does add it's own little boot menu when you
boot the DOS side of the drive.
