Also, if you're working from home (and other people are working at
their homes) do you still need public liability? would property
insurance cover your home?
I'm guessing the insurance company or broker will tell you whats
included.

required when your clients – read govt departments – need it. You can
probably get a package deal from someone like QBE which covers you
for PL,
contents/equipment and I think there was a third one they bundle

Don’t get upsold on the extra laptop insurance; with laptops now
less than
$1000 per year, you’re better off self insuring unless you plan on
working
from backpacker hostels.

Has anyone had any experience in business insurance for web design

marketing consulting, that may be able to shed a little light on
comparing
the two policies? Better still, someone who works in the IT insurance
industry?
