Thank your for your story, well told and full of affection. I like the part about finding Silklist on AltaVista, like looking up in a random number in phone book. Sometimes it does seem, as they say, that the Universe is there full of interesting doors, just waiting to see if we'll knock on them. I'm glad you knocked on Silklist's door. Glad I did too.
