How about using CS as the "water" in which you brew your tea?

It seems that, with all our usual concern over starting with pure 
water, making CS in something as complex as an herbal tea would be a 
total unknown.

Doing it the other way around, making the CS and then "tossing a tea 
bag into it" might be more workable? <g>

As to any possible results, I have no comment! <GRIN>
