Ain't' that the truth :-) I try to avoid pesticides (when I can) I try to reduce my carbon footprint (when I can) I buy from the local farmer's market when it's there and in between from local stores. But I cheerfully admit I'm at the mercy of those selling food to honestly describe it and how it was grown / raised. And that's without getting into the whole "is it better to buy non organic from the farm down the road or organic that's been flown in from China" debate :-) Basically I believe in enjoying what I'm eating and that it ain't worth stressing over.
