C'mon guys, give Ruth a break. All of us, in fact. We all need compassion and consideration, as we all get what we 'deserve'.

Getting old is no picnic- it is not for the faint of heart, or the cowardly. Everybody dies of something, and it is often painful and difficult.

Deciding on a course of action and following it is an exercise in science. Then deciding on a change of course depending on what happens next, is the logical scientific next step.

I did *many* alternative healing methods for many years, but it was a Dr. that figured out I had a serious fungal infection, and his antifungals that saved my life. I now have switched to more natural antifungals and other treatment, but I remain grateful to him and others like him that continue to practice the Scientific Method of Medicine, instead of the more typical for today method of following the drug company's treatments.

This is sad - because once you have gone all the way down that path, most often the damage is done, and the alternative methods will NO LONGER WORK. If you do everything the doc tells you, and get worse and worse to the point that 'there is no alternative but to remove part of your colon', it will be too late, and you will have only *yourself* to blame, because *now*, you have exposed yourself to *real* *alternatives* *that* *can* *allow* *your* *body* *to* *heal* *itself*.

I will not feel anything but pity for you at that point - you will have gotten what you 'deserve'.

Why not get radical, and *take* *responsibility*, as opposed to blind obedience to petty-god-wanna-be's?
