If he is using it without diluting it, he needs to dilute it to between 50-70%
concentration.Pure(usually99.85%) DMSO is pretty hard to keep on your skin due
to burning and itching. Dr. Jacobs sees no value in using it at a concentration
greater than 70%. When I buy it in pints(473mL) I pour 150mL into another
container and refill the pint container with de-ionized water.You could just
eyeball it and pour out 1/3 or soand refill it with distilled water or some
kind of pure water. I would avoid city water because of the chlorine added to
it. I've never tried aloe vera, it might work pretty good too. Hope this helps,
