You might be reading your meter wrong. If it's a PPM/ TDS meter, double the reading. Those are for salt water and silver water isn't salt water, so the translation is different.
10 to 12 PPM would be more like it over that time span.

Set on automatic it will make 5ppm's in about five to six hours. From other groups I read they recommend the one I have or the silver gen. I don't know about the silver gen. The only expense once you have your machine is quality DISTILLED water.
