Dee I think the Devil they know is easier for them to deal with than the Devil they don't know. They don't want to take the time to learn. My daughter also. My son is listening and does some study about things. Made his own cs machine and has given up his all mighty Mountain Dew!
It took a while for my husband and I to change. Didn't want to give up the conveniences but so thankful we did Spending a lot of time trying to fix what we broke now but are doing better. So true Carol Ann. My daughter is a case in point; and a friend of mine. No matter what evidence I produce to prove the points about low fat and diet stuff, nothing sinks in. Probably gotta have his Soda, one way or another. Not an isolated incident or unfortunate set of circumstances. I know people who know better, are intelligent and informed and guess what, they're going to keep buying Splenda, low fat, and processed. The rationale I often hear is....if one thing doesn't kill be, something else will.
