Hi. I used to have migraines all the time. I would be sick in bed for a
couple of days, requiring the house to be quiet and all the shades pulled
down because light hurt my eyes and sound made hurt my head..
About 25 tears ago I began meditating 10 minutes at a time, 3 times a day.
Lo and behold the migraines went away. Whenever I got the 'aura' I would go
someplace quiet and meditate, even if it had to be the bathroom at work
where I could be alone and lock myself in for 10 minutes. Meditation worked
every time. Sometimes I would meditate for much longer periods when I
realized how good it was for me.
I rarely have migraines anymore.

I wonder if a migraine med called Topamax also has a dark side. It
increases
the frequency of attacks dramatically while only preventing for a few
hours
a day. Net effect seems to be to put you on the drug frequently and
permanently.
