If set on automatic mode, when the LED goes out you have ~ 20 microsiemens of conductivity in the water.

In a half liter, that generally works out to be around 15 PPM, In a liter, around 9-12 PPM.

A batch can be let sit over night and re-run. Each time it is re-run the PPM number comes closer to the microsiemens number till the generator just won't run anymore. If the starting water is very very pure, it *can* take many hours just to bring the water up to the point where the generator will put out its' full current.

It can be used immediately [That is my preference]
Shelf life...never found it had one.

Hi all, can anyone tell me when the batch is finished, how long do I have to leave it before using, or can you use it straight away? Many thanks. Dee
