Hey Dee,

Just set your jar in a pan of hot water for a few minutes. I do this in winter
'cause it takes hours longer to finish a batch if I don't.

Hope this helps,
Ruth B.

That's interesting Lin, it says in the blurb that warm water will make
the silver quicker, but I was wondering how to warm it? I wouldn't have
thought a microwave would have been a good idea though, so I just used cold.

I make the big batches (SilverGen7) and have found that starting with
room temp or a bit warmer water and running the genterator in my small bathroom
where the temp will be 73 if I close the door, shortens the time it takes to
process. Every batch seems fine.
