I did do this when it first happened, and indeed, the doctors called it transient ischemic attack' but a lot of the symptoms didn't fit i.e. He didn t lose consciousness or even nearly, and also, the treatment (aspirin) had an adverse effect. This is why I don't think it is caused by clots, but by weak blood vessel walls. Thank you for your input. Dee
