That would be one way. Back then I just considered that if anything 
settled out of the preparation it was probably getting old. <grin>

I had a bottle that I stored my salt-generated CS in. After several
months of making and taking CS stored in that bottle, I noticed a
*solid* patch of sediment in the bottom. It was hard to see because
the bottle was such a dark glass, but it was definitely there. So,
there's a clue to the quality of CS made with salt. 

Perhaps if we limited the current to a few milliamps like we do on
some of our current rigs the particle size would improve? Might be an
answer to the tapwater question. Anybody wanna try an experiment?
