Salt Test

Put about an ounce of CS in a shot glass or some small glass container.
Add a shake of salt crystals. The salt will turn the ionic silver
portion into Silver Chloride which will start to precipitate and become
visible. Using indirect light coming from the back of the glass, you
will see a beautiful blue haze, the appearance of which is proportional
to the strength of the ionic portion of the CS.
