Morning Wayne,

Yep, and I wonder how many people are under the impression the redness around a wound or trauma site is a result of the injury when in fact it's not, (not from what I have read). It's our own blood cells, (don't know if it's white or red so don't ask), which cause this 'redness', and it has been noted that our own bodies 'defence' mechanisms, (for the want of a better explanation), can kill us instead of the trauma killing us, (figuratively speaking), as a result of the bodies over production of these cells in dealing with the trauma. Just thought I would impart that little bit of trivia on as a passing general comment, without getting into pedantics or providing links and/or evidence. <g> Oh, and I won't explain in depth, because I can't, I'll leave that to the academics in the field of human biology to elaborate. I just know this can occur. Google could be a good place to do some research though, for those that may be inclined, I've already read it. <big g>
