Yes, the cold fushion guys really stumbled onto something, and I think it was reproduced too.
There have been thousands of successful reproductions. Some devices have produced outputs 10 times input, and it is rather easy to get 1.5 to 2 times input using such methods as glow discharge electrolysis. Anyone taking the time to look into it will find that it was definitely a suppressed technology.

The men I am aware of (at Laurence Livermore Labs) that are working on clean nuclear tech are anti cold fushion, but only because they don't think it can work. They did not do the experiment, though, so they did not disprove it either....

Methods to get rid of radioactive substances have been know for about 2 decades, but have been suppressed since it would eliminate the very profitable nuclear disposal industry. Also, if admitted, it would prove that cold fusion is real, and the oil industry does not want that either. Hopefully this will change in the next few years.

If the claim is true, there may be an effective solution to the problem of nuclear waste. Hope it's for real . . . while also hoping for major funding of solar, wind, water, and geothermal options.
