Depends on whether you want it in glass or if you are OK with plastic. It does not dissolve the plastic but some are concerned about very low emissions of plasticizers and things like bisphenol-A. I don't know the particulars about the plastics used in the DMSO containers but I do know that Dr. Jacob is comfortable with the use of plastic containers so that goes a long way for me. He has been practicing alt medicine
with DMSO for over 30 years and only recently stopped seeing
patients to devote his time full time to writing a 16 volume set on
DMSO.

www.jacoblab.com
- lists only plastic containers but has glass available
upon request. Very pure product but not USP grade at least not labeled
USP grade (due to politics of DMSO?).

www.jeffersequine.com
-16 oz is ~$5, gallons are FOB

www.petsupplies4less.com
- the last time I ordered a gallon it was $29 and there was no FOB
charge, shipping was paid due to the size of my order, this may
have changed

You will pay more for the same quality depending on where you buy and if someone has merely rebottled in glass. There are warnings on even the vet grade bottles that say sold as solvent only, this is again
politics and defensive posturing.

USP grade is availalbe by prescription from a pharmacy. It is called Rimso-50 and is 50% not 99%. It is covered by some medical insurance.
I know people with Lupus whose insurance pays. These same people
also buy the vet grade in plastic because what their insurance will pay for is not enough to get them through the month. It has kept one lady off cortisone injections, which had been essential prior to DMSO.

www.gaylordchemical.com is the only US based manufacturer of
USP grade DMSO. They also make and sell other grades. Their
website has some information but not on therapeutic uses. It is
great for removing graffiti BTW.

Hi all,
Where is the best place to buy DMSO. They do not carry it at our local feed store, so I was thinking I'd have to purchase over the net. Also, should it be in a glass bottle? Thanks, Deb
