Okay, yeah, we're dealing with web-mail here! That's what I mean. If you hit the reply button (however/wherever that's done on yahoo mail) it brings up a window with quoted text in it, I presume, and lets you start typing your answer into that same frame or window. With your cursor in that editing window, hit the down arrow key a bunch of times and you'll be able to scroll through ALL the quoted text that's tagging along for the ride on your 2 or 3 line message! <GRIN!> *That's* the stuff you'd like to delete to make your message shorter!
