Hi Mike. Thanks for your synopsis. I understood the *lack of access* concept, but did not know that both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria existed in every venue. I thought it was one or the other. Thanks for clearing that up for me. MA

If you look at pathogenic bacteria, you'll find both aerobic and anaerobic. You'll even find some bacteria that can be either, depending on the state of the environment they are in.
