Thanks for your reply.
I know I could have gone cheaper, but I saw that the company had a track record
of a number of years with  seemingly many satisfied customers.
Yeah, I concur with you on some of the sensationalistic promotion of the
product.
As far as the timer the company provides and distilled water consistency
yeilding good product. I am not an Electrical engineer, but it is my opinion
that a range of very acceptable product can be determined by factoring in the
use of the recommended amount (about 1 quart) of distilled water for the fixed
amount of time that it would take to meet a certain standard which was
factored, or formulated, in in the design of the unit. No?
Have an enjoyable Labor Day weekend,
John

I'm glad it is working for you.  I think it seems over priced and I question
some of the claims they make - but I'm no expert.  I'll let the experts on the
list speak on the merits of machine and it's ability to do what they say it
does.

I got my silverpuppy plus the magnetic stirrer for less than just that unit.
It does not appear to shut off when the ppm reaches a certain amount but
instead when your $5 or less timer goes off, I find that a bit suspect, since
we have discussed how the water you start with can impact production time and
this method does not take that into account at all.

I also found their website sensationalized and hard sellish.  That always puts
me off and makes me suspicious.  But that's me.

I happen to use the Silver Edge microparticle generator. I have been using it a
relatively short time and am thus far pleased. User friendly, no muss or fuss -
I like the idea of the bubbler, as a solution mixer during the process...also,
the auto timer which I set and forget. It produces consistently clear product.

Their website also has an abundant amount of info and research on the product
and CS and it's use.

Does anyone else have a Silver Edge, who has used it a long period and cares to
comment on your satisfaction or dissatisfaction with it?

Best,
John

I would second that.  I did the same thing.  Shopped, compared and settled on
the silverpuppy.  Also did the full package with a stirrer and large mouth
adapter.  I did not get the reader (because I'm poor) but will likely invest in
one eventually.

The animals and I have been very pleased with the results.  And honestly it
makes it so simple and easy to make.  No fuss no muss.  The output is always
clear to a very faint yellow.  I make one to two quarts a day because I provide
it to the dogs and cats in bowls next to their water bowls so they can drink as
much as they'd like.  Interestingly their intake has gone down a bit the last
few days, so I finally managed to get ahead of them in production and could
probably let my puppy rest for a day or two.

PS: silvergen also makes excellent EIS generators from the comments I have read
from folks who have their generators ... so I don't think you'd go wrong going
with them either

I absolutely appreciate my Silver Puppy from silverpuppy.com

Easy to use with great instructions, auto turn off or manual for higher than 15
ppm, consistently clear brew and steadily improving health for both of us and
for friends with whom we share our silver water. The choice of Silver Puppy was
after MUCH consideration of what is available in the market place.  And as I
was a newbie, I bought all the bells and whistles - generator, stirrer, CMO-100
for reading the before and after approximate ppm, ring to adapt puppy
generator to wide mouth jars, etc.  I would still all do that to satisfy my
wanting to "do" everything I could to make an excellent silver brew.  Silver
Puppy site has really thorough information so do not hurry through that
site like I did - take time to smellall  the roses of invormation for us tha
Ken has taken the time to cultivate and share..

Sincerely, Paula in Palacios
