I agree with Marshall.  I would think a sterile bandage soaked in sterile
EIS as packing and then covered with another sterile bandage and taped on
would do the trick.  I would imagine you can also find a sterile barrier so
the EIS doesn't evaporate.  That might take the place of the second bandage.
Obviously you need to use your judgment as only you are there with her.

According to Bob Becker's book "The Body Electric" EIS, or silver ions 
are great for promoting healing without scarring. Personally I would 
keep it wet with EIS as much as possible, and give it time to heal. That 
will of course also prevent infection.
