I know some people on the list like Kulish but Davis & Rawls predated him by
many, many years.  Their stuff is still available and will help guide you.

helped me a lot specially my arthritic hands.  I used the biggest of the lot
under (green) and top of my hand (red) and bec of its size it held together
without tapes!  I moved the top around and the bottom one followed, but
being careful not to let it go  near the edge of the palm as they would snap
with your skin in-between them (golly gosh, the pain!!!@@#@#@).  The pain
