I do not have any experience with CS and these diseases.  However, I had
this problem for nearly 15 years until I changed my diet and started
drinking honiger (honey & ACV).  When I eliminated white sugar and flour
from my diet (at least 95% of time) and really watch preservatives this was
an unknown welcomed relief.  I still drink a bit of coffee but mostly
water, alkaline juices like apple, cherry, grape (no sugar), water and at
least 1 T of unpasterized Apple Cider vinegar somewhere in the day...no
problems any more.
