I was asking about the "main stream science...." that Sam mentioned. Zecharia Sitchin (irrespective of his qualifications) is not exactly mainstream science.
So there is not much point in reading Sitchin, that would be the reverse of "preaching to the converted" as in "the converted asking the preacher". :-) Curious minds want to know...
