"Effective," to me, means it works to relieve a severe sinus situation
(probably fungus infection) that I have. Nothing else worked
(including CS, cayenne and countless other treatments -- and a bunch
of MDs and their treatments).

Actually, the 9-volt Zapper that I first made produced a noticable
effect after using Clark's protocol 3 times daily for a while. That
is, within 3 days or so, the frequency and severity of sinus episodes
seemed to be dropping.

After watching what was happening on the 'scope (I do electronic
stuff), I decided to use a 12-volt supply. That made a MAJOR
difference. Instead of episodes lasting one to five hours, the pain
would stop within the 7 minutes of the first step of Clark's protocol.

(My sinus situation slowly built up over many years, until I could no
longer work as a computer consultant -- couldn't meet clients because
I didn't have enough time between pain episodes to have a meeting, and
couldn't predict in advance when the episodes would occur so couldn't
schedule meetings around them. The sinus problem is that mucus would
build up in the sinus cavity and couldn't get out, resulting in
increasing pressure/pain -- even to the extent of pressure on my
eyeball and resulting vision distortion. The vision problem didn't
matter much, because the pain was so great that I couldn't do anything
else. I had to sleep sitting up in a chair for several months at a
time, and during the period just before discovering the Zapper, I
practically lived in the chair because my sleep periods were about 1-2
hours long before the pain would wake me.)
