Since metallic silver has no taste, a colloid containing only metallic
silver particles (a true colloid), regardless of the size of the particles,
has no taste. The taste associated with colloidal silver, assuming it has no
additives, is due to the ionic silver content.
Therefore, a true colloid: 1) has no taste 2) has no additives, especially
protien, 3) has little or no ionic silver.
