"My friend Ole Bob is pretty simple to operate,..." That has not been my experience; he is actually pretty complicated.

Can this affect the silver particle's sizes? My friend Ole Bob is pretty simple to operate, I don't know how I could produce large particles of cs. My cs is usually colorless, I have made cs with a very slight yellow color, and of course this other batch that was fine and then, turned pink in the fridge. The water I use is steam distilled water from the drug store. We do not have Walgreens here in Ontario(that I know). Somebody in Quebec mentioned using Life brand steam distilled water from Pharmaprix. We have life brand at our Shoppers drug stores. I have purchased some but haven't used it yet. On another note, I am having problems with infection from my earrings. I have been applying cs to the holes for about 5-10 min. How often should I apply the cs and how soon do you think it would take to clear? Thanks, anybody's help and comment is always welcome, Sylvie ----Original Message Follows---- From: Jack Dayton <jack...@harbornet.com> Reply-To: silver-list@eskimo.com To: <silver-list@eskimo.com> Subject: Re: CS>cs color Date: Tue, 14 May 2002 13:48:25 -0700 5/13/02 5:53 AM sylvie hargraft wrote: > Then, where should cs be stored? Each batch has been without any color at all, and if Ken's figures are correct, each batch should have been about 28 ppm. As to storage, we happened to have a 2 pint glass lined (vacuum bottle) carafe that is serving very well for this purpose. I don't remember if you mentioned the brand of DW that you are using, but not all brands are PURE distilled water. If there is a Walgreens available do try their brand - it is steam distilled and deionized. If you do try it, be sure to "seed" it from a previous batch of silver. My first wasn't , it ran almost 5 hours. With one ounce of "seed" I get shutoff in about 2:45 hours. Now this is more than twice as long as Ken states as run time, so I will try 2 Ounces, I'll let you know what results. Jack -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
